Our trip through Gambia and Senegal with Eddie and driver was tremendous. First, I would like to point out that he came highly recommended by the Ocean Bay Hotel in Gambia. Eddie arranged a tour and van to carry eight people through Gambia all the way to Dakar, Senegal. Our tour of Gambia included a stop at the Kachikally Crocodile Pool and Museum, where we got to pet live crocodiles. After that we drove through the main market street in Serekunda and experienced all the street vendors. Before leaving the area we made one more stop at the Abuko Nature Reserve where we walked with live hyenas and feed baboons and monkeys. The car ferry was not running so our journey was quite long to cross over the only bridge in Gambia and drive back across Senegal to Dakar. Eddie was quite helpful with boarder control and making everyone’s journey pleasant. He provided plenty of water and was constantly making sure we were all comfortable and made multiple stops for the bathroom as needed. Eddie made sure we where safe in our hotel and came back to check in on us at dinner and the next morning at breakfast. Eddie even organized our ability to use credit cards to access cash to pay for the trip. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience and Eddie was a great host on our journey. I highly recommend him to anyone traveling to visit Gambia.
This crocodile pool has a rich history and have been established for centuries now. The pool has a holy water and can be also used for fertility bathe for those woman with children difficulties. Its museum has a vast history about the various tribes, virtue and cultures. We have two types of crocodile at the pool, and both species have males and females. The only aggressive ones are the baby mothers. The Gambia is the only place you can stroke the crocodiles if you dare! They don't eat any meat or flesh instead the staff feed them with fish daily in the morning and in the afternoon. Once they are fed they are very relaxed!

We will enjoy Sea fishing or Creek fishing. This is done in the Gambian River and cruising begins from the Denton bridge through the tunnels to the main river. Along the cruising we will see how the oysters are attached to the mangroves. We use the fishing lines with bait by using either shrimps or bonga fish for fishing. In this trip we catch lots of fun and enjoy the atmosphere. If we are lucky, we can see the dolphins 🐬 The nature in the river is simply the best . This trip is so relaxing and enjoyable. The boats we use are large with two decks, stairs, toilets and sunloungers for relaxation.
